You are invited to submit a tender for the development of remediation options to a point where they are ready to be delivered on site in the region of the River Wear, through the following keys tasks: • Confirm land ownership details and gain agreement to the works • Understand and progress planning requirements of the works • Working alongside Coal Authority Engineers to develop the technical engineering details where required • Confirm and obtain necessary planning, watercourse, historic and environmental consents including any required surveys and investigative works • Manage the tender process to procure suitable contractors to deliver the works The invitation to tender comprises the following documentation against which you are invited to tender:- (a) Instructions to Tender (b) Project Scope (c) Tender Response Form (d) Various Attachments Please be aware that this tender exercise will be undertaken via the Coal Authority's eTender portal hosted by Bravosolution where all these documents can be found.

Should you wish to participate in this tender exercise you need to register your company details, which will require the provision of some company information and agreement to terms and conditions to access the system.

Although the despatch, completion and return of tenders will be undertaken electronically, the Authority will issue a letter to award the contract.
