Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust
Infrastructure Works in Support of Modular Accommodation
The Trust is currently engaged in a series of relocation works of the various departments from the existing Norton Court building to allow the same to be demolished in 2020.
One of the projects which is currently out to tender is the provision of parents' accommodation and clinical genetics in a modular solution.
In support of this modular provision is the need to provide the necessary services to the Modular building.
This project is the provision of these services to a point to subsequently allow the successful company appointed to undertake the construction of the modular works to feed their building.
The successful contractor for this project will be required to work alongside the Modular Contractor appointed to ensure that the required services will be available to allow the Modular building to deliver the required functional facilities.
It is envisaged that the works in this project must be completed before the end of January 2020.
Works are envisaged in the existing Neo Natal unit and the same will be required to be undertaken outside of the standard recognised construction working hours and at times to be agreed with the Trust.
