Prior Information Notice: Provision of e-services for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (for the Care Quality Commission)
The Care Quality Commission (“CQC”) is inviting Expressions of Interest in a potential requirement for the provision of e-services for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
CQC would welcome expressions of interest from approved e-Broker organisations who can: • Offer an e-bulk platform to facilitate the administration of DBS checks electronically; • Provide bespoke ID checking services for staff; and • Provide management information reporting to enable CQC to manage, verify and track all applications within the checking process including initial confirmation, in order to establish if a check is clear or contains information.
