Existing community and voluntary organisations also provide support to stroke survivors that range from expert advice to general community activity.
This service will not duplicate those services but is intended to compliment the work of public and community organisations and make sure that timely expert advice to help individuals manage their daily lives and connect with other organisations and groups is available at the point in an individual's recovery when they want it.
This service is for adults of 18 years and over, resident within Dorset (excluding Bournemouth and Poole).
