The brief

This tender is for a leisure management system (LMS) for our Sports Centres.

The University has a sports centre at its campuses in Lancaster, Carlisle and Ambleside.

Our extant LMS has been in operation since 2012.

The University is seeking a system providing customers with an online self-service portal facilitating joining, bookings, payment administration (including direct debit management and/or recurring card payment), account management, with access to these functions via a range of devices including smartphones.

The new system must include a reporting tool with standard reports and dashboards.

Of particular interest to us is functionality to allow us to improve customer service and improve the efficiency of our business.

Integration with existing University systems is important to the University.

Such systems include: Student records system (Tribal SITS) HR system (ResourceLink) Timetabling (Syllabus Plus) Finance system (Agresso) Authentication system for Single Sign On (Entra ID / Azure AD or SAML2) Our preferred method for the supply of the solution is as Software as a Service, completely supported by the vendor in all respects 24x7x365 including system updates and upgrades.

The solution must be PCI DSS compliant, and the vendor must hold Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation or comparable certification.
