Strategic Delivery Partner - SME Engagement
Home Office DDaT Event: Police and Public Protection Technology (PPPT) Strategic Delivery Partner SME Day Following on from our supplier event on 6th October for the Home Office PPPT Strategic Delivery partner procurements, we are delighted to be hosting this SME day ahead of the procurement launch.
The planned procurement is an important element of the PPPT Strategy in moving to a more Product Centric Delivery approach and is imperative to ensure efficiency, effectiveness & capacity in the timely delivery of various PPPT programmes and projects.
Services in scope include the skills and capability required to discover, design, build and run PPPT requirements.
The procurement will be run via TS3 Lot 4, and the approach is cognisant of both the government agenda in utilising SMEs and VCSEs and that SMEs through their niche skill sets have an important role to play in the provision of services to the Home Office.
That is the genesis of this event, which is a chance for the suppliers on Lot 4 to network with and understand the capabilities of SMEs interested in supporting this opportunity.
We hope this session will raise awareness and understanding of this opportunity across the SME community; help Lot 4 suppliers broaden their knowledge of SME base and how this can augment their service proposal; and provide a forum for companies to forge useful relationships ahead of the procurement launching.
Following an introduction from the Home Office Commercial Team, each SME will be invited to give a 1-minute 'lightning pitch' to the audience, briefly covering their key capabilities and areas of expertise.
After the lightning pitches there that been a networking session for the Lot 4 suppliers and SMEs to have conversations, informed by the pitches.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your company and a great platform for enhancing your partner ecosystem, so if you're a Lot 4 supplier or an SME interested in this opportunity, book your place now.
Due to anticipated demand bookings will be allocated to one representative per organisation for onsite attendance with additional representatives being able to join online.
Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis with a reserve list being catered for by an additional event that will be online.
