Lower Thames Crossing (LTC)- Benefits to the Estuary and the UK
Introduction The Thames Estuary Growth Board (TEGB) and Highways England are partnering on a study which looks at the positive, transformative effects the LTC will bring to the immediate locality, the region and the UK.
The aim is to produce a 'call to action' report which sets out a clear articulation of the benefits of the project for communities, businesses and different levels of government, with recommendations and/or examples of the actions they could take to further enhance the benefits of the project.
We need to make the benefits of the LTC tangible for stakeholders, and help them use the project to deliver their own objectives, eg local growth plans.
The study should therefore explore a range of themes, eg from jobs and skills to housing and environment.
