As a Waste Disposal Authority (WDA) DCC is responsible for the disposal of waste that the District Councils of Devon collect, known as Local Authority Collected Waste (LACW).
This process is to undertake a request for quote for a replacement (temporary) contract for the haulage and processing of North Devon and Torridge District Councils' Food Waste following the administration of the incumbent contractor.
The contract is proposed to start on 20th May 2024 and end on 30th September 2024.
This will be recompeted under a full open tender at this point.
