The brief

Canterbury Christ Church University is looking to appoint a single contractor to provide a fully managed vending service.

The successful contractor will be required to manage the entire vending service to ensure all of the machines are always clean, full and working.

As part of this fully managed service, the successful supplier will be required to: o Provide a replacement for all current vending machines with the latest equivalent incorporating both a contactless and cash payment system o Ensure that uniformed merchandising staff visit each site regularly to fill the machines with products and ingredients. o Carry out regular cleaning (inside and out) on all vending machines o Provide a Call Out Service to ensure that trained engineers are on hand to ensure the machines are always working It is expected that the successful contractor will provide highly attractive and appealing marketing and point of sale displays as appropriate to the specific vending machines and taking into account its area of location to appeal to the Students, Staff and Millennial profile of guests at the University.

CCCU will also be looking for additional recommendations from the successful contractor within their tender response regarding alternative or additional vending machines that would be of benefit to the University.

In addition to these requirements, the University will also be looking for the successful contractor to provide a number of stylish and compact capsule machines to service mobile hospitality across the University Campus Network.

The Contractor will be required to pay the University a percentage of the commission from the generated sales from the Vending Machines.
