The brief

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) in Cambridgeshire is seeking to commission a ‘specialist VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector provider’ or consortium of providers to deliver an additional ISVA service for the county.

This will be comprised of two full time equivalent posts: Service provision within the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (currently in Peterborough but relocating to Huntingdon in October 2016) to support countywide victims of sexual violence through the criminal justice system.

A single post to cover Cambridgeshire cases until March 2017 extending to countywide after that date.

This will be a one year contract with an option to extend for a further year to be awarded in August 2016.

It is suggested that it would best be delivered through two dedicated post holders employed by and provided with appropriate professional support, supervision, training and mentoring by the host organisation.
