The brief

The Department of Health and Social Care is looking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable contractor in the context of adult social care to provide for the design and delivery of a leadership training programme for Social Principal Social Workers (PSWs); Principal Occupational Therapists (POTs); Approved Mental Health Professionals Leads (AHMPS) who are new in post or looking to further develop their influencing and leadership skills; and aspirant or new PSW/POTS/AHMPs from a Global Majority Background.

The contractor will also need to provide a mid-point and final comprehensive evaluation of the programme and its impact.

Initial contract term: 12 months.

Extension: The contract may be extended for a maximum duration of 24 months, contingent upon the sole discretion of the Buyer, budget availability, and internal approvals.

Estimated value for the contract: £100,000 inclusive of VAT.

Total value of contract including extensions: £300,000 inclusive of VAT Project reference: C220565 The contracting authority considers that this future opportunity may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs) or Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS).

However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
