Equality and Human Rights Commission
EHRC 1718-55 Research into the representation of equality groups in elected office
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Business Services band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 57,319 valued Business Services tenders in our corpus.
The Commission has done some preliminary research into the diversity of national and local elected politicians in Britain and the barriers to elected office.
We have identified evidence in relation to the number of women in elected office and their experiences, but very little evidence in relation to other underrepresented groups.
We have identified three areas where we would like to have a clearer understanding of existing evidence base and gaps.
