Highcliffe Castle - Exhibition Design Services
This sits in the lower-middle of the Furniture & Furnishings band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 5,729 valued Furniture & Furnishings tenders in our corpus.
Highcliffe Castle, on the Dorset coast, is a visitor attraction attracting 30,000 visitors a year.
The Castle was rendered derelict in the 1960's by fire and abandonment.
Whilst externally restored in the 1990's with assistance and funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund there is an ongoing phased approach to the continued repair and conservation of the interior.
The project focuses on the repair of the remaining ground floor and basement areas.
This is important as it will give access to more of the heritage, including the servant's areas and original kitchen.
The objectives of the project are to: - Improve the visitor experience - Increase visitor numbers - Increase turnover for the attraction.
