The brief

The West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) Personalised Care Programme are developing a training offer to upskill and support the wider personalised care workforce, including volunteers, throughout 2022/23.

Following a successful training programme delivered in 2021/22, which trained over 1000 people throughout the region, this training offer will aim to upskill voluntary sector staff, volunteers, health and social care professionals, care coordinators, health coaches and social prescribing link workers across West Yorkshire in delivering personalised care approached to address inequalities, meet the needs of our most vulnerable communities, connect people to what matters to them and change the relationship between people and professionals.

We are inviting bids from experienced training providers, accredited by the Personalised Care Institute who have experience of working with the voluntary sector, social care and the NHS to apply for this exciting opportunity to deliver training to support the resilience and upskilling of our personalised care workforce.

We would welcome responses from either individual organisations or consortiums of organisations to deliver specific modules or the whole training programme.

This programme will deliver real impact in meeting the needs of our most vulnerable communities across West Yorkshire.

If successful, the selected provider/s will receive funding to deliver the training programme up until the 30th November 2023.
