Background to the project The Council, as part of its Digital Strategy is seeking to enable efficient, convenient and modern ways for staff to work and access information.

The case load for the legal team has steadily grown over recent years, until now the team has used paper-based systems and the standard Microsoft Office Suite to manage and track cases.

The case load has now grown to such an extent that this has become unwieldy and inefficient.

The legal team have identified that the implementation of a legal case management system, would support improved and more efficient working process, with better governance and would enable the team to work more collaboratively on cases.
