Flood Refurbishment Works 2016
Foss House in York was badly flooded on the Ground Floor in December 2015, causing extensive damage which needs to be refurbished and made operational again, now that the drying process has completed.
As part of the works, flood resilience measures are to be put in place to reduce the impact on the building of any future flooding.
As part of these measures, the existing raised access floor is to be removed and a new concrete slab is to be installed.
The flood refurbishment works have been split into two phases.
Phase 1 works were undertaken during 2016 and involved the strip out, clean and refurbishment of the Reception and canteen.
This tender covers Phase 2 of the works which involves the refurbishment of the remaining ground floor spaces.
