Request for Bids for the Supply & Installation and Repairs & Maintenance of White Goods and Electrical Appliances

Newlon Housing Trust (NHT) is a highly successful charitable housing association based in North and East London.

We work to provide people in housing need with decent and affordable homes and with our Group member Outward to help individuals and communities reach their full potential.

We currently have approximately 1,200 intermediate rent properties in the North and East London areas where white goods are supplied and maintained.

There is some variation in that some properties have fewer appliances provided than others (for example, not all properties have washing machines, some have separate ovens and hobs etc.).

However, it is estimated that we provide approximately 6,000 items in total where we repair or replace in the event of a breakdown.

The majority of items are of a standard specification but there are some exceptions, e.g. built-in appliances, so we would be looking for a supplier who is set up to deal with such variation.

Newlon Housing Trust is seeking a supplier(s) for the following lots: - Lot 1 provide supply and installation of white goods and electrical appliances - Lot 2 provide repairs and maintenance service for white goods and electrical appliances.

Interested suppliers who are able to deliver Value for Money in terms of cost and quality across a range of items for Newlon Housing Trust are invited respond to this Request for Bids (RFB).

The contract value published in this notice is an estimate only and it is for bidders to review all of the tender documents and inform themselves fully of all conditions.

NHT reserves the right not to award a contract for either Lot.
