The brief

NPS Norwich Ltd, on behalf of Norwich City Council manages the maintenance and repair of the social housing property portfolio that comprises of approx.

18,500 conventional low and high rise properties with reinforced concrete stairways walkways and landings, system built properties, concrete framed high rise flats and timber framed dwellings.

In order to maintain the property stock in good condition it is necessary to undertake repairs and maintenance as appropriate.

Norwich City Council have a requirement for the installation of Thermodynamic systems to approximately 100 properties in order to provide residents with some free hot water, prevent fuel poverty for tenants, reduce their carbon footprint and increase the properties SAP score.

It should be noted that there may be some properties with vulnerable occupants.

These properties may require particular attention in that they will require works over and above the standard specification; experience in dealing with residents will be required.

The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects, the delivery of works and the provision of all necessary managerial supporting services.
