MIROCALS Study Flow cytometry cell subset numeration in human whole blood and monitoring of pNF-H in CSF and plasma samples by ELISA
The Service Provider is requested to monitor the absolute number and frequency of circulating white blood cell subsets including FOXP3+ regulatory T cells (Tregs), CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, B, and NK cells in EDTA whole blood samples and the circulating pNF-H biomarker in CSF and plasma.
For whole blood samples, cell subsets should be analysed by flow cytometry.
There will be 216 patients and 5 time points per patient (1080 samples in total).
For plasma and CSF samples, the pNF-H should be monitored using a commercial ELISA kit (Biovendor).
There will be 3 plasma samples + 3 CSF samples per patient from 216 patients (2 x 3 x 216 = 1296 samples in total.
All procedures will need to be validated, including the preanalytical stability of whole blood samples prior to flow cytometry analysis.
