The brief

The University requires a contractor to provide Confidential Wastepaper Disposal Services to satisfy the University's principal need to achieve a value for money, secure chain of custody for confidential paper waste through a low maintenance contract with the ambition of zero waste to landfill.

The services must conform to BS EN15713:2009 for confidential waste destruction and must evidence a comprehensive approach to implementing an information security manage.

It is estimated that there would be approximately 120 consoles required to be collected at a maximum frequency of weekly giving approximately 3000 collections a year amounting to around 50 tonnes (of which 40 tonnes is from routine collection and 10 tonnes from Ad hoc collections).

The appointed Contractor would be expected to work with the University prior to commencement of the contract (and throughout) to fully scope requirements and make efficiency recommendations going forwards.
