University of Plymouth Graduation Marquee

University graduations are prestige events and the culmination of many years' study for the graduands.

Since 2008 Plymouth University has held its graduations in large marquees on Plymouth Hoe.

Graduating students are encouraged to invite family and friends to share this important day with them.

The presentation of students for the conferment of awards is a formal event; however the overriding aim of the ceremonies is for those graduating, and their families, to have a memorable day which will leave them with a final, positive impression of the City and the University.

In addition to attendance at the ceremony, students and guests are invited to attend a post-ceremony reception where they can mingle informally with staff from the School from which they have graduated.

Plymouth University holds its graduations in 2 large marquees on Plymouth Hoe.

The marquees for 2019 were of the following dimensions: 1.

Graduation Hall, Graduation Lounge, Reception, robing and photography (25m x 130m) 2.

Post Ceremony Reception (25m x 25m) Over the course of 6 days the University anticipates hosting in the region of 23,000 students and guests.

The University of Plymouth are looking to complete an appraisal for the marquee market ahead of our 2023 graduations.

So we are looking for interested suppliers that can provide an assessment of costs for 2023 as per our detailed specification within the attached documents.
