Introduction 1.1.

In accordance with The Public Contract Regulations 2015 the University is required by law to award contracts (subject to certain exclusions) in an impartial and transparent manner.

This applies in the case of insurance services, the premium payable and other forms of remuneration.

We are inviting you to provide a quotation for the following insurance broker services: 1.2.

Assist the UEA Procurement and Insurance team in developing and leading a Risk strategy in relation to a large-scale construction project, the refurbishment and extension of the Lasdun Wall 1.3.

Provide advice on and conduct a market exercise (compliant with Public Contract Regulations) to source Construction All Risks (Contract Works) insurance protection for this construction project and to include quotations for: 1.3.1.Delay in Start-Up 1.3.2.Third Party Liability 1.3.3.Construction Pollution Liability 1.3.4.Parent Company Guarantees 1.3.5.Performance Bonds 1.4.

Provide insurance advice and support to the University's Insurance Manager and wider University team regarding the insurance requirements of a construction project of this size 1.5.

Support the University's legal advisor and provide risk advice when drafting construction contracts.
