The brief

Charnwood Borough Council is wishing to appoint an artist or artists to create an art piece/pieces to enliven a residential greenspace in the town of Shepshed based in Leicestershire.

The commission will require an artist to develop a concept and engage with local residents to realise an art work(s) that suits the setting and has the potential to be both playful and inclusive.

The overall budget for the successful artist will be around £60,000 to cover all expenses including design, community involvement, installation, landscaping and travel, for completion by early September 2019.
