SE1184 Active Environments Framework

SE1184 aims to re-procure a multi-provider, multi-LOT Framework to support Sport England's Active Environments priority whilst further contributing to delivery against our place expansion, future of public leisure and wider planning work.

The Framework, promoting active spaces and healthier communities, provides high-quality consultancy services for the sport and leisure sector.

Consultants now play a significant role in strategic planning and investment projects for local authorities, aligning with Sport England's guidelines.

With 43% of Local Authorities requesting to access it, the Framework streamlines procurement, saves time, and facilitates collaboration with Sport England.

Users value the expertise and express strong interest in its continued use.

The Active Environments Framework provides consistent, high-quality consultancy support to help organisations, such as Local Authorities, Active Partnerships, and System Partners, address capacity and capability challenges.

As we move into the next phase of Place Expansion, the Framework will continue to empower Sport England to influence consultancy quality and approaches, ultimately strengthening guidance and knowledge-building within the sector, particularly public services.
