A framework agreement for marking and tariffing on Forest sites across the Sherwood South & North Beats, part of Central England Forest District
The Forestry Commission will be awarding a framework agreement for marking and tariffing of trees on Forest sites, as part of our on going harvesting operations, across the Sherwood South & North Beats, part of Central England Forest District.
It is essential that procedures and conventions outlined in Forest Mensuration, a handbook for practitioners, Forestry Commission (2006) are followed during the work on this contract.
This includes: 1) Pre tariff: a) Area survey, Top Height and Volume Plotting (B6 plots) b) Survey stand features to allow net area calculation.
2) Marking and Tariffing a) Thinning - A4/A5 Abbreviated Marking & Tariff b) Clearfell - A4/A5 Abbreviated Marking & Tariff Please express your interest in this tender to Tim Medlock or Val Coulton at the Sherwood District office by email or in writing by the 8th January 2016 to allow us to notify you of any questions and answers we may receive.
