Mentoring Support for Young Adult Offenders
This sits below the typical range for Health & Social Care contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Merseyside VRP seeks to reduce violent reoffending rates by actively supporting offenders through the gate on release from prison to successfully resettle back into Merseyside by engaging them with a mentor.
The mentor will work with them on a weekly basis to remove the triggers of offending behavior by following established pathways out of offending (accommodation, drug and alcohol misuse, finances, health and wellbeing, and education employment and training).
