Carpal Tunnel Surgery for NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest CCG
This is a Prior Information Notice published for Transparency purposes and Soft Market Testing to gauge market interest.
NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) on behalf of NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCGs) are inviting Expressions of interest for the provision of a co-ordinated Carpal Tunnel Surgery service within Redditch and Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest CCG’s.
The aim of the service is to provide a high quality carpal tunnel service within a primary care/community setting to meet the needs of the local population.
The intention is to provide a community carpal tunnel service in order to offer prompt and increased patient choice on treatment options.
The service shall deliver an enhanced patient experience with reduced waiting times and easier access.
To provide an accessible, comprehensive, confidential service, that offers service users informed choices and appropriate treatment.
The service will include: Confirmation of initial clinical assessment; Injection (if required);Splinting (if required);Open release surgery; Follow up (if required);Discharge.
Under this specification providers will deliver all service elements as required under a ‘one stop’ service.
The CCG would like to assess current market appetite to provide this service.
The outcomes of the event will then determine next steps.

Please note that this is not a PQQ, we are using this functionality within the Bravo portal to communicate with interested parties.
Closing date for registering interest is 20th May 2016 at 12 noon.

The services to which this notice relates fall below the Light Touch Regime threshold set by Public Contracts Regulation 2016.
