The brief

L&Q seeks to put in place a PPE & Branded workwear contract to include the provision of Health & Safety signage to include both standard and bespoke signage requests.

L&Q will provide this protective equipment to all relevant staff and the PPE and branded workwear clothing must meet the requested standards stipulated and be to the highest quality to protect L&Q staff.

The Service presents an exciting opportunity for a supplier to develop a partnership with L&Q and the potential to extend this contract for the full term available (5 years) The commercial challenge will be the delivery of the core list attached at competitive pricing and to keep challenging the perceptions of L&Q staff that branded products maybe of higher quality then an own brand product or similar to ensure the most commercially advantageous contract to L&Q.

The chosen supplier will create a partnership agreement more than just a supplier and customer relationship.

L&Q seeks innovation within this contract and will expect the successful bidder to challenge high spend areas and offer alternative products and solutions.

The chosen supplier shall be able to provide core stock of PPE (within 72 hours of request) and Branded clothing (within 120 hours 1 week) of request turnaround time including delivery to site.

The successful supplier will have the facility for a fully operational punchout catalogue with up to date and live-stock information to feed into L&Q P2P system.

As a minimum the supplier must be able to accept and send cXML files for orders and invoicing.

The successful supplier will not place the group wide account on hold if there is issues around invoices not matching PO's when payment is processed the successful suppliers Account Manager/Director will work with the L&Q nominated contract owner and the relevant business area to ensure any issues are rectified quickly and efficiently and the group account is never placed on a hold or stop preventing orders being placed by the rest of the L&Q group.

The successful supplier shall be able to deliver orders to all L&Q sites within the 48 hours turnaround time stipulated and if the successful supplier is unable to deliver themselves they must seek alternative solutions ensuring L&Q's front line staff are never left without the required PPE equipment.

The successful supplier must either be able to produce their own branded stock on site or have sufficient storage space to be able to hold the required stock levels.

An implementation plan which demonstrates innovation and includes at a minimum how the Service will be marketed.

An agreed communication strategy and escalation procedures to ensure that L&Q is proactively informed of all matters relevant to the execution of the Service.

Access to advance market development information to ensure that L&Q via the provision of the Service maintains its market competitiveness.

The service provider will demonstrable commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
