Aids & Adaptations (Works)

Midland Heart are looking to procure a Aids & Adaptations contract to meet the requirements of the Care & Support and Customer & Communities departments within the business.

Midland Heart are looking for a high quality solution for its specified requirements from high-quality providers that can deliver the specified works.

The basis of the contract is (but not limited to): •Programme based upon Occupational Therapist report or supporting evidence from other sources to install level access showers, fitting of rails, doors, step construction, pipe fittings, electrics, flooring, lighting, ramps, major adaptations and any other work required by Midland Heart. •Carry out surveys and consultation with Midland Heart customers and carers where applicable to ensure all measurements, scheduled work, pricing are accurate and correct. •Keeping Midland Heart customers fully informed as to the proposed work, the anticipated start and completion dates, contact names and numbers if required.

The supplier must be able to carry out works for Aids & Adaptions (Works) contract within all stipulated geographical locations as stated in Appendix 3.

Please note ONLY the red and blue areas shown on the map are areas to be covered within the contract.

The supplier will be required to satisfy one off orders or low value orders placed by Midland Heart.

The contract duration will be for a period of 2 years initial with an option to extend for a further 1+1 years based on satisfactory performance of the awarded supplier and VfM offered through benchmarking exercises carried out on an annually basis within the extension period.

The contract will be awarded to a sole supplier to manage all areas stipulated in the tender.

Suppliers must meet all minimum (pass/fail) requirements stated within the tender documents to be considered for this contract.
