Primary Medical services in North East Essex

North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group hereby invites suitably qualified service providers to submit tenders for the provision of Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) at three practices in North East Essex; • Epping Close Surgery, The Old Renal Unit, Clacton On Sea CO15 4AB • Frinton Road Medical Centre, 68 Frinton Road Holland-On-Sea, Essex CO15 5UW • Green Elms Health Centre, 32 Crossways Jaywick, Essex CO15 2NB · In order to achieve the required step change in the way in which services are delivered, the CCG is seeking to procure a single 'Lead Provider' who will be accountable for the provision of all services within the scope of a single APMS contract.

A potential Bidder can be a standalone organisation or a grouping of organisations.

The Contract will run for an initial 10 years commencing on the 1.4.2018.

There is an option to extend the contract for 34 months.

The contract value for the initial 10 year term is £25739000.

The Contract value, including the option to extend is £33031716.

The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations2015 (the 'Regulations').

As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, single stage application process akin to the Open procedure, involving a number of stages which are outlined within the suite of procurement documents.

The Contracting Authority does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Schedule 3 Services.
