Bid Writing Services

Research, Enterprise and Innovation (REI) is the Professional Service Group in the University that handles research and enterprise R&E) income for the University.

This has been a major growth area for the University and future growth is targeted.

In order to do this the University is committed to enhancing both its bid writing competence and capacity.

The University does not currently employ dedicated bid writing staff though many business development managers have the ability to support academics in writing and developing successful bids.

The University wishes to outsource interim on-site support for bid writing for a six month period while it considers how best to enhance the quality and volume of its bids to formal funding calls, of which bid writing strategy is a key element.

The University has sourced support for the last year, which finishes end January 2019.

The support included more extensive managerial support than the University now requires for this tender as it intends to use its own systems and line management to handle the bid writing services.
