Council Chamber Audio Visual Upgrade
This sits in the lower-middle of the Office & Computing Equipment band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 8,857 valued Office & Computing Equipment tenders in our corpus.
Amber Valley Borough Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced companies wishing to provide a quotation to undertake the first stage of an audio-visual upgrade of its Council Chamber.
In the first stage the successful company will be required to provide and install linked wireless microphone units that must be capable of integrating into Council meetings and providing the Chairperson or Democratic Services Officer to effectively control meetings, via a press to queue system and by control over which microphones are live, with integrated screens to assist delegate participation.
The system must be capable of integrating with the Council's existing hearing loop system and include a small number of standalone microphones to enable public speaking where appropriate.
The delegate microphones must also be capable of delegate recognition via RFID or similar.
The system must also be capable of being easily upgraded in future to enable the introduction of electronic voting, through either licencing or a software upgrade, as well as automatically panning cameras.
Expressions of interest should be registered with: simon.gladwin@ambervalley.gov.uk
