The brief

Portsmouth City Council ('the council') is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to provide effective, efficient delivery of cycle training to primary and secondary schools in Portsmouth.

The awarded contract may also be used for other cycle training, including but not limited to scootability training and community events.

Funding has been granted to the council by the Bikeability Trust for the period 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026 to deliver Bikeability training to young people in Portsmouth.

There is the potential for funding to extend beyond this date, however this cannot be guaranteed.

The initial contract term is for one year with the option to extend in annual increments up to a maximum of 4 years.

The annual contract value is estimated at ?110,000.
