Centralised Embedded/Lodge Payment Card Services

The BBC is seeking one Service Provider for centralised embedded / lodged payment card services.

Embedded cards will be in 2 formats, standard lodged cards for use with the BBC’s flight Travel Management Company (TMC) and payment cards allowing suppliers to get reimbursed for costs incurred providing services to the BBC on up to a daily basis.

The standard lodged card used for the BBC’s flight TMC has transactions of approximately £12m per annum.

The payment cards cater for suppliers including the BBC’s hotel TMC.

The BBC’s hotel TMC uses a payment card to be reimbursed for the costs incurred for the BBC’s hotel requirements.

The BBC’s hotel TMC has transactions of approximately £22m per annum.

The contract will also cater for other suppliers that require standard lodged cards and payment cards to reimburse costs, as and when required.

For the purposes of this procurement it is estimated that the spend values set out in this short description will remain constant throughout the duration of the contract, including any optional extension period available.

The BBC’s intention is to arrive at a short list of five (5) Applicants who will be invited to respond to the Invitation to Tender.

Please note that there is no guarantee of any spend under this contract, and the spend volumes stated are only estimations, and are therefore subject to change.

The Contract will run from 1 July 2016 until 30 June 2018 but may be extended by up to 3 years.
