The contract is for a multi-disciplinary partner to work with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to support the delivery of the UK's Freeports Programme.
The supplier provides challenge and strategic advice to improve the quality and delivery of Freeports plans and proposals.
This support encompasses four functions: 1.
Strategic advice.

Troubleshooting draw-down service.
This modification is for additional support required for Freeports through to March 2026, including technical assistance for the Scottish Green Freeports and Welsh Freeports, and continued programme management support/advice, in particular to support site financing and unlocking complex tax sites across the Freeport Programme.
The additional work commissioned is consistent with the scope of the original contract.
This modification increases the total value of the contract by £1,246,245 (ex VAT), from £12,242,317 (ex VAT) to £13,488,562 (excl.
VAT).
