BCH Provision of Planned Refurbishment Programmes of Works to Social Housing Properties within Blackpool

Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) is looking to appoint Contractor/s frameworks to undertake building works on the social housing stock.

This primarily includes general refurbishment works, replacing windows and doors and fencing and separate lots have been made available for these parcels of work.

Lot 1 - General Building Works Lot 2 - Replacement of Windows & Doors Lot 3 - Fencing The frameworks will operate on the basis of three contractors of equal standing being selected to join each lot.

BCH will have the facility to select any of the three contractors to undertake works based on a variety of factors including capacity, experience with the type of work and other external mitigating factors.

Successful Contractors will be expected to sign up to the JCT Framework Agreement with individual JCT contracts as necessary to cover the work as it is undertaken.

It is anticipated that the contract term for each lot will be 1st August 2024 - 31st July 2026 with the option to extend for a period of 1 year (subject to contract review and budget availability).
