The brief

The University requires the provision of pest control services to replace an existing contract that is due to expire.

The scope of the contract includes both proactive and reactive pest control services across the University estate.

The proactive pest control is required both internally and externally, working closely with the Catering, Facilities, Student Living and Estates teams to ensure all pest prevention measures are in place e.g. bait boxes being placed in the right location.

The reactive element of the contract includes two separate service levels: 1.

Emergency Call-out: Requires the successful supplier to arrive on site within 4 hours of being notified for an emergency call out.

2.

Non-Emergency Call-out: Requires the successful supplier to arrive on site within 24-hours/Next Business Day.

These service levels should be achieved 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will form part of the KPI review.

The University intends to establish a strong relationship with the successful provider built on a culture of constructive challenge, successful delivery and continuous improvement and expects to receive excellent Value for Money from the service provided.
