The requirement is split into 2 separate Lots as follows.
Bidders may bid for one or both lots.

No more than one Applicant will be appointed to each lot.
Lot 1 Gas and Power Lot 2 Water The Contractor will be required to support Birmingham City Council through the delivery of the service including, but not limited to, and pursuant to the other parts of this Contract, the following activities and facilities: o Account management o Utility bill validation and processing o Billing query system integrated with utility suppliers o Detailed monthly high level reporting o Additional/regular energy reporting requirements o Management of meter operator agreements o Help desk provision o Support for utility procurement o Attendance of meetings o Calculation of utility budgets o Calculation of utility accruals o Benchmarking o Monthly KPI reporting This contract will be for a period of 15 months commencing 1st January 2021 until 31st March 2022.
The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
