THE REQUIREMENT 1.0 Introduction.
Chichester District Council is looking to replace its current Public Address system for a new, portable and wireless version with the following requirements:- The system must be flexible enough to be upgraded to include web casting at a later date.

2 x wireless control units, one is to be mobile to enable off site use while the 2nd is to be fixed in committee room 2.
The system should also include:- • 2 x Chairman Units with identity card readers and voting facility, with long gooseneck microphones, and a runtime of at least 8hrs, with battery life indicators. • 58 x Delegate units with identity card readers (including 60 cards) and voting facility with long gooseneck microphones and a run time of at least 8hrs with battery life indicators. • Facility to configure microphone priorities in terms of number of units in use at any one time and delegate priority speaking order. • To include all associated Software to run both voting and authentication for identity cards and card swipe Identification. • Wheeled storage and transport units with integrated charging for 60 delegate units. • Hard of hearing infra-red system. • 10 x Infrared body packs/lanyard receiver. • 5 x Standard Headphones . • 5 x hard of hearing Neck loops. • The system must be able to connect to local government software “ Moderngov” and be compatible with a software package “Audio Minutes”. • To include integration with existing audio equipment already installed on site. • The system must also provide broadcasting security to prevent unauthorised access. • On-site training at Chichester (1/2 day) • Full instruction manuals • 12 month warranty The budget for this purchase is £50,000 - £70,000
