The brief

The FSCS is seeking to appoint a contractor to deliver small works in relation to office space reconfiguration.

The contractor will be expected to deliver the small works project using a detail and build project approach as detailed in this ITT.

FSCS open the Beaufort House office each Tuesday for colleagues who are required to complete operational and compliance obligations that they cannot complete at home.

The FSCS requires JCT Minor Works Building (Public Sector) 2016 terms and conditions for this contract.

This office environment arrangement drives the requirement for the contractor to complete the project within five days Wednesday to Sunday.

Following completion of the project FSCS have reserved the Monday to meet with the contractor for the purpose of reviewing project delivery success against the specification and identifying any snagging works to be completed.

The contractor is to manage the sub-contractors noted within Appendix E to ensure project delivery in accordance with current Health and Safety and Building Regulations.

The contractor is required to engage Beaufort House building management to plan and implement a waste disposal plan avoiding disruption to other tenanted firms daily activities.

The new FSCS areas to be created are: •Laptop touch down space to accommodate 24 users. •A large collaboration, meeting and breakout space that can be separated by the installation of a London wall to accommodate large scale internal events. •A new Post Room. •A new concentration area. •A new video conferencing facility. oTenderers are required to note the details below and select a suitable slot from options provided.
