Leighton House Museum - Concession Contract for Café and Catering Services

The London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) wishes to appoint a sole caterer to operate the café and the evening hire commercial events at Leighton House Museum.

This is a great opportunity for a single provider who has experience in operating a café and evening catering events within a heritage setting to provide a distinctive catering services of outstanding quality within a beautiful and unique venue at the heart of prosperous west London.

It is essential that the selected caterer is entrepreneurial, innovative, and socially aware and an upholder of ethical business practices with a genuine commitment to taking an interest in the Historic Museum and its use as an events venue.

The successful Tenderer will operate on the concession basis and pay the Council a percentage-based commission on both the café and the evening events.

The café commission will be based on the café revenue, whereas the evening events commission will be based on the fee charged to their customer per event.

This tender will be carried out using an Open Procedure to award the contract in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The contract length is 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years which is subject to satisfactory performance.
