Lewes District Council (LDC) owns and manages approximately 3,470 homes within East Sussex in Southern England.
LDC seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to enter in to a contract to deliver responsive repairs and maintenance works.
The successful contractor shall deliver a high quality service offering value for money to residents providing secure continuous improvements across all works.
As part of this contract the Service Provider may be required to work in partnership with other Service Providers, Stakeholders & Consultants employed by the client.
It is intended that the contract will commence in February 2018, & subject to annual reviews, run for a period of five years with the option for extension decided by LDC, for up to a further five years subject to satisfactory annual reviews.
The maximum duration of the contract is ten years.
The annual estimated value for the works is 3,300,000 GBP.
The contract works can include but are not restricted to responsive repairs to domestic properties, void refurbishment works including associated repairs, disabled aids and adaptations and any other associated works that the client deems appropriate.
It may also be possible that LDC will expand the scope of the contract to include properties owned or managed by Eastbourne Borough Council, Eastbourne Homes Investment Company Ltd and Eastbourne Homes Limited.
