The brief

South Tyneside Council would like to invite you to a Supplier Engagement Event for Advocacy Services for Adults, to be held 9am - 11am on Thursday 27 March 2024 at One Trinity Green, Havelock Street, South Shields, NE33 5RW.

The outcome of this event will inform the forthcoming tender exercise, which is anticipated to commence in summer 2024, for a contract commencement no later than 1st April 2025.

This event will be focused around sharing our ideas for the future model of service delivery.

We intend to share our proposed service model and seek your feedback on how it could provide a more integrated service offer and interface with the broader health and social care system.

We will also take you through the Council's tender requirements and potential timeline.

The current proposed model has been informed by co-production work with users of services, families/carers, current providers, and wider professionals, in addition to statutory requirements and NICE guidelines.

We will present the model on the day of the event, with a view to hearing your feedback on our proposals to further shape the service specification.

We do hope you can join us so please register your interest by contacting Katrina Shakespeare (katrina.shakespeare@southtyneside.gov.uk).

Please contract Katrina if you have any questions about this event.
