Ealing is conducting this market engagement to test the proposed Model, and whether it stands a good chance of success in addressing their objectives; identifying any opportunities to adapt the Model or the procedure to achieve this.

This includes a need for feedback on the appetite, ability and experience of service providers 1.3.3 Ealing has initially grouped activity into the following categories.

Being considered is how best to resource each category, and whether this should be with a single contractor or a group of contractors: a) Reactive repairs and voids b) Planned and cyclical maintenance c) Gas safety - Servicing, repairs, and boiler installations d) Electrical safety - Servicing, repairs, and installations e) Lifts - Servicing, repairs, and installations (this could include lifts operating within the Ealing corporate property asset portfolio) f) Asbestos - removal g) Water Hygiene - Servicing, repairs and installations h) Fire safety - including fire risk assessment responsive works i) Decarbonisation and retrofit.
