NHS Barnsley CCG : Minor Eye Conditions Service
This sits in the upper-middle of the Health & Social Care band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
This is a reissued tender offer which completely replaces tender 'itt_4405 - NHS Barnsley CCG: Minor Eye Conditions Service' which is now closed.
The new tender reference 'itt_4442 - NHS Barnsley CCG : Minor Eye Conditions Service' reflects a number of changes to the specifications, financial schedule, and questions for bidders.
These include: The Optometry First Minor Eye Condition Specification has been amended to more clearly reflect the delivery model required by NHS Barnsley CCG.
The Pre and Post-Operative Cataracts Specification has been updated to more accurately reflect the post-operative elements of the service delivery.
The bidder question with regard to structure and organisation of the service has been amended to allow bidders the opportunity to more clearly describe how they will deliver the service.

The provider will for relationships with or sub-contract with, to ensure the accreditation and governance of sufficient local optometrists to manage delivery of the Minor Eye Condition service, the pre and post-operative Cataracts assessment and follow up Service, and other services that may be added during the term of the contract.
