Portsmouth Safer Streets 4 - Hippodrome House Underpass Commission - Artist Brief
Portsmouth City Council wish to commission a permanent public art installation on the theme of Safer Streets that reflects the role that Art has to repurpose space from criminal to social activity.
Applications are invited from individual artists or artist teams with experience working in the public realm.
The aim is to create a suitable piece of artwork to reflect the theme of working together to reduce crime and that is appropriate for the location within the Hippodrome House underpass.
Design and production budget: £10,000 Deadline for applications: Wednesday 8th February 2023 at 12:00 Selected artists appointed by: Monday 27th February 2023 Completion of art installation: Friday 5th May 2023 Clarifications must to be submitted by Friday 27th January 2023 via the In-tend correspondence function.
