Oxfordshire County Council has awarded a contract following an open procurement process for a Consultant Co-ordinator for the Domestic Abuse Lived Experience Group (LEAG (Lived Experience Advisory Group)).
The Lived Experience Coordinator will be required to ensure appropriate representation of people with lived experience of domestic abuse including children and young people.
This will enable them to participate in co-production within an equal relationship between people who use services and people responsible for designing and delivering domestic abuse services in Oxfordshire.
This means working together from design to delivery, sharing strategic decision making about policies as well as decisions about the best way to deliver services.
The Co-ordinator will need to create diverse ways to ensure appropriate engagement for diverse groups, especially children and young people to ensure meaningful co-production.
The Contract will commence on 2 May 2024 for a period of 36 months.
The Council has an option to extend the contract period by a further 24 months.
