Guardianship services
The London Borough of Camden ('the Council') is seeking to award a contract for the delivery of guardian services to protect properties left empty due to a range of reasons including, regeneration, sale, redevelopment, on sites across the Borough.
The aim of the guardianship services is to provide security to residents of surrounding properties in the block by keeping vacant properties occupied and reducing the opportunity for vandalism and squatting.
The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years commencing with 1 optional extension of 1 year.
This does not constitute as a guarantee that there will be vacant properties offered up to guardians throughout this time, though it is anticipated that there will be.
Camden reserves the right to utilise empty properties in any way it deems best, including leaving them vacant.
