Logistics Development Agenda: Conceptual Thinking
Assistant Chief of Defence Staff (ACDS (Log Ops)) has tasked Dstl to deliver a programmatic approach to realising the Defence Support Network (DSN ) of 2035 and beyond – the title of this Programme is: The Logistics Development Agenda (LDA).
MOD wish to challenge the existing system, procedure and process for delivering logistics with the aim of realising a future with no (perceived) logistics footprint or drag with forces having access to what they need, when they need it.
One way in which this may be achieved is through a DSN as envisaged above, but equally there may be a number of other innovative solutions.
