NHS Commercial Solutions, in collaboration with its NHS Workforce Alliance partners, procured through an open procedure, a framework agreement for a panel of suitably experienced and qualified suppliers of International Healthcare Professional Recruitment and Associated services to provide expert guidance to NHS and other public sector organisations.
The NHS Long Term Plan has set out its ambitions for the NHS over the next 10 years, identifying ethical and sustainable international recruitment as a workforce priority.
It is intended that this framework will meet the Health and Social Care needs in line with the NHS Long Term and People Plan.
This framework aims to provide a holistic approach to the International Recruitment journey, and the range of services and support requirements needed at the various stages of the process, to enable Participating Authorities to obtain recruitment and retention support of its overseas candidates.
The period of the Framework Agreement shall initially be 2 years, with the framework agreement anticipated to commence on 2nd May 2023 to 1st May 2025 with an option to extend the Framework Agreement for a further one or more periods up to a maximum of two (2) years in total from the end of the initial term.
The maximum duration of the framework shall be 4 years in total.
Awarded suppliers under this framework are required to provide relevant documentary evidence that specified requirements such as insurance and NHS Employers Code of Practice accreditation are maintained throughout the duration of the framework.
The Authority reserves the right to amend the awarded status of a supplier at any stage during the framework duration if any core requirements are not met.
